BLANKENBERGE LIGHTHOUSE
Blankenberge, Belgium
Since I was parked on the same road that followed the coast, I left Knokke-Heist and proceeded to Blankenberge. I drove along the seafront but those streets are narrow and one-way and busy. So as I was driving out of the city, I looked back in my rear view mirror and there it was. A couple of U-turns and I found my way to a parking space not 25 yards from the lighthouse. The light is right at the beach at the end of this long row of one resort hotel after another. Not a real pretty coastline.
