BREEVEERTIEN LIGHTSHIP

  I had been getting some great info from a Dutch website that had an excellent map and details. Along with the Hoek van Holland Laag Vuurtoren at the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam, is the Lightship BreeVeertien. Very nicely restored, it sits in a canal 100 yards away from the vuurtoren. It wasn't too hard too find. I have driven all over the Netherlands now that I am accustomed to the roads. And I was able to park right on the street in front of the ship.

I bought a Dutch-English dictionary so I could translate the details on that website, and I'll do that one day. Anyway, it is the prettiest I have seen yet. Mooie Rooie means beautiful redhead.
