You can tell when you drive into Cannes. It gets crowded quick. I had to do several U-turns and drive up and down the main drag before I found a space to park. Good thing those European cars are small, 'cause so are the parking spaces. This was the place to be. Monaco was the only other coastal town that had this many folks. Ok, St. Tropez did too. This was the busiest. The beautifullest of the beautiful. Richest of the rich, yadda yadda. More like the beautifullofit. Nice setting though with the mountains across the way in the background. I must have missed the film festival. No movie stars stopped in front of me with my cameras to be photographed. And I thought word had reached them of my visit!
The harbor is marked with three towers. I think one is radar, the red topped tower out on the end. I have closer shots, but I'll have to scan the slides in. These are digital images. The bottom picture is a merge of two shots.
