CATTLE POINT LIGHTHOUSE
San Juan Island, Washington

It used to have a lantern on it it with a real lens. I saw a picture of it in one of these books I've been reading. Looked a little better then. I mean this is kept up and all, but not very romantic with that little beacon on top. It commands as pretty a view as I have seen from the various lighthouses I have visited. And you know, none along the California coast or in the Puget Sound have a view to complain about. Not a lot of close-by parking but plenty of trails to hike out to the light.
Cattle Point marks the Southern tip of the San Juan Island.
