ESTONIAN SUNSET
Haapsalu, Estonia

I have been most fortunate as far as travel opportunities go, and have traveled a lot in the last few years. I think this has to be one of the most colorful sunsets I have had pass before my eyes. I knew there had to be a reason for it raining on the only day I had to go looking at tuletorns in Estonia. We had the last ferry ride back to Haapsalu and it was getting late, 11 PM or so. The date was June 1st, 2002, for anyone keeping track of such detail and the sun began to do its short dip below the horizon before coming back up at some unheard of hour for it to be so bright. How can anyone sleep when it never gets dark. Well, I hope you enjoyed this photograph. It certainly was a pleasure taking it.
