Hoek van Holland, Netherlands

 

While I am standing there on the dike photographing the Maasmond Lichtopstanden, freezing, it sure is windy out at the end of Europport, I noticed, looking back over to the other side at Hoek van Holland, that I could see two pairs of range lights and the furthest pair were the ones I had seen when I found the original Hoek van Holland light the week before. The above photo is from then, and below is a photo from the Maasmond location. I take pride in the photo below, since the two pair flashed at different intervals. You can see both pair are flashing. The foreground pair use a white light and the background pair uses red.
