NEW POINT LOMA LIGHTHOUSE
San Diego, California
New Point Loma sits down nearly right on the beach below the cliff that Old Point Loma is situated on. You can see it from the overlook out past the old lighthouse itself. You can also drive down past it on a road that will take you to a parking lot for tide pools. I parked here and walked back along the road to the fence. New Point Loma is closed to the public and serves as a residence for Coast Guard luckies. Plenty of good views from the road though, a medium to telephoto lens would be appropriate for photos.
