OLD POINT COMFORT LIGHTHOUSE

Old Point Comfort was a challenging light to get to. You have to drive out of Norfolk up to Hampton Roads. You go over a cause way that goes under the water instead of having to build a drawbridge. Then you go in to Fort Monroe and drive around there some till you come to the lighthouse. It sits beside somebody's house. Like a giant lawn ornament. I believe the light is still active and so is Fort Monroe. So it is a federal offense to commit a traffic violation. Don't speed.
