OOSTENDE LIGHTHOUSE

Oostende was only about a half hour drive away, so I cruised on. I could see this one as I drove into town and found the appropriate side roads to take me there. It is fenced off and not open to the public. It at least looked like a lighthouse. I still couldn't get over the skinny pole at Knokke-Heist. This light is located back amongst the shipyards and the whole area was cluttered. Not a scenic park like many of the US lighthouses. Ate a peanut butter sandwich and headed for Nieuwpoort.
