I had just gotten on N57 out of Haamstede and headed south to find Westkapelle. I looked west across the horizon and saw a dike, so I knew I was nearing the bridge over to Noord Beveland. And I saw a stand alone tower by the dike and it had no steeple. So I started side tracking that way until I was driving on top of the dike towards this tower. All I know is that it is called Plompetoren and was listed in a book on Dutch diving sites. This was one. I talked to two divers who were getting ready to go scuba diving there, brrrrr, and they had a book with the name. They told me I could go up in it, the door was open.
