PORTLAND BREAKWATER LIGHTHOUSE

South Portland, Maine

You can see this one from Portland Head Light and from Spring Point Ledge Light. You can also drive up to it, like I did. A light was established here in 1855 but this cast iron tower replaced the original wooden tower in 1875. It appears that it is no longer in service.
