VEN FYR
Island of Ven, Sweden

I could barely see this one, but I used a travel tripod and my raincoat to get this long distance shot of the north end lighthouse on the Island of Ven. About 10-15 minutes south of Helsingborg you turn right of the main road and I don't know how I found my way to where I did, but I ended up in a parking lot for a windsurfing outfit that was of course closed. I had even asked two ladies on the dirt road leading in to the windsurfing place if I would be able to see a lighthouse out on they island and they both had said no. I still had to drive all the way down there so as I was pulling in, I saw the tower.
When I got back in my car to leave, a young woman came walking up pushing an empty stroller, with her little daughter following behind. There was a single puddle in the path they were walking on and the little girl had stopped in the middle of the puddle to splash. She was a doll. See the photo below if you don't believe me. I asked the mother for permission to take the photo and she asked why. I said "...because your little girl is so precious, somebody just has to take her picture and well here I am"
