DAMA GAZELLE
Gazella Dama

Horned animals, as I am finding out are not always so easy to photograph. They are either laying down in the shade of a fence or wall, or they have their head buried in whatever they are feeding on. And they don't stand still when they aren't doing one of those other two things.
This fleet-footed gazelle lives at the Oakland Zoo. I believe they have a very informative web page for this animal if you're interested in that stuff. Just click here: The Dama Gazelle
Now from reading their page, I figure that this particular species is one of
the 5 sub-species, Dama Ruficollis, or the Nubian Red-Necked Gazelle. Gazelles
belong to the Antelope Family.
