JAGUAR
What a magnificent cat!. This male lives at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA. He has a brand new enclosure and this view is through the plexiglass side by the pond. 35mm lens with a flash. I took this during my 2nd visit. On the 3rd visit, I got many more shots, but he never stopped to drink.
The jaguar is the ultimate predator in the rainforests of Central and South America. This is the 3rd largest of the 37 species of cats and one of the four cats that can roar. Here's a link to information where you can learn more about them: Jaguar
