GREATER KUDU
Tragelaphus strepsiceros
What a set of horns this antelope has. This horny guy seemed to be the dominant male at the SF Zoo in the African Savannah exhibit. The Greater Kudu is one of the largest species in the antelope family. And the males have beards, females don't and they rarely have anything but smaller horns. I did catch a nice shot of a young one feeding.
