PATAS MONKEY
Erythrocebus patas
These critters make me laugh, for some reason. Maybe it is the way the walk around on all fours and climb up to the top of the trees to survey their territory. Or maybe it is because they remind me of old guys with white mustaches, kinda.
But I bet you didn't know they are one of, if not the fastest running monkeys on our planet. I believe I read something like 33 mph. I don't know if that is for escaping or catching something, though.
