RING-TAILED LEMUR

I personally think the Ring-tails are the cutest of the lemur family and certainly the most entertaining to watch. There is a good collection of lemurs at the San Francisco Zoo in the wonderful Lemur Forest enclosure with a number of them being Ring-tails. Since they opened the new African Savannah, zoo visitors now have access to view the Lemur island from the lower back side, as well as from the deck perspective, which used to be the only view. I captured the images of the lemur in the tree with a hand-held Nikon 200-400 AFS VR Lens on a Nikon D1X digital camera with an SB-800 flash. Probably 10 lbs total. Pretty good feature, that VR.
