COQUEREL'S SIFAKA
Propithecus verreauxi coquereli

Found this family of three at the Sacramento Zoo. The sifaka is related to the lemur, if I have done my homework. The above is mom and son. You have to take your photographs through a chain link fence. Best opportunity for keeping the zoo out of the photo is to wait for them to get on the ground in the middle of the cage. The little one was quite entertaining to watch when he is active, which was all the time I watched.
Sifakas are found only in Madagascar and are listed as endangered.
